As Food Banking Operations Director, Darren oversees all donated and purchased goods in our warehouses. He manages the inventory database and tracks the quality and nutritional value of the food OFS distributes. In addition, he is responsible for the movement, storage, and distribution of food to community partners and implementation of food safety standards.

Darren also works with colleagues across the organization to ensure they have the inventory needed for their programs.

Darren earned his Computer Specialist degree from the Bryan Institute. Some of the awards and distinctions he has received include Seafood HACCP Officer, AIB International (HACCP and Food Defense), and OSHA General Industry.

When he’s not in the office, Darren loves to be outdoors. His hobbies include fishing, hiking and camping.
