Operation Food Search offers education programs to help individuals and families make healthy food choices. Focused on practical cooking skills, we promote nutritious, affordable meals and resourceful food use.
For over 25 years, OFS has adapted to community needs, evolving to address the changing challenges of food insecurity. We collaborate with partner organizations to improve food literacy, increase access to healthy food, and foster self-sufficiency in the communities we serve.
We offer in-person and virtual classes, including sessions in our on-site teaching kitchen, which features eight learning stations. Here, participants cook alongside a chef instructor and fellow classmates, gaining hands-on experience in preparing nutritious meals.
