Buffalo Cauliflower
Ingredients
- 3 – 4 cups – Cauliflower florets
- ⅔ cup – All purpose flour
- ¼ cup – Cornstarch
- ½ tsp. – Salt
- 1 tsp. – Garlic powder
- 1 tsp. – Onion powder
- 1 tsp. – Paprika
- ¾ cup – Water
- 1 cup – Panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup – Hot sauce
- ⅓ cup – Unsalted butter
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°.
- Combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, and spices in a bowl and mix until combined.
- Add the water to the flour mixture and whisk together until smooth.
- Toss the cauliflower in the batter until well coated.
- Add the breadcrumbs to a bowl and add a few pieces of cauliflower at a time, shaking the bowl as you add them, so they’re evenly coated with the breadcrumbs.
- Place in the air fryer and cook for approximately 15-20 minutes, flipping over halfway through.
- While the cauliflower is cooking, add the hot sauce to a small pot and heat gently. Stir in the butter until it’s melted.
- When the cauliflower is done cooking, add to a bowl and toss with the sauce.
- Serve and enjoy.
Chef’s Tips
- Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing, just as you would with chicken wings.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, these can be made in a conventional oven, but you may want to raise the temperature to 425°.
- If you don’t like hot sauce, substitute barbecue, honey mustard, or your favorite sauce for wings.
