Urban League taking action to feed St. Louis area residents

SNAP benefits are ending Nov. 1

Michael P. McMillan, Urban League president and CEO, is encouraging anyone who wants to support the food distribution effort financially to visit www.ulstl.com, the Urban League website, “to make a donation of any size.”

Non-perishable food items can also be donated at the Urban League headquarters.

Operation Food Search (OFS), City Foundry, and other partners will hold a food drive at the Foundry from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, and food collection has begun at The Foundry.
