A Local Tasting Event Hosted by the OFS Friends Board, Benefiting Operation Backpack.
The OFS Friends Board hosts the annual Party for Packs every summer. Guests have the opportunity to sample delicious food and cocktails from local vendors, try their luck with raffles and—most importantly—support a great cause. Proceeds go to Operation Backpack, providing sacks of kid-friendly, shelf-stable food to get students through the weekend when school meals are not available.

Raising more than $30,000 to support Operation Backpack, this year’s event featured delicious food and cocktails from local vendors. Four Golden Ticket Raffle packages offered luxury weekend trips, spa treatments and a sports staycation.
At this year’s event, the Friends Board introduced The Vine, a networking group that provides opportunities to become more involved with Operation Food Search through fun social and volunteer activities.
