Cooking Matters at the Store

Want to save money at the grocery store? Want to buy healthy foods to feed yourself, your family and/or kids? Need some delicious and quick dinner recipes? Operation Food Search and Shop ‘n Save will hold a supermarket tour event day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, inviting the public to explore how easily they can make healthy food choices at the grocery store on a limited budget.
The “Cooking Matters at the Store” flexible drop-in tours, led by dietitian professionals, will take place every 15 minutes at two Shop ‘n Save stores:
Belleville, IL Shop ‘n Save located at 4201 N. Belt West, Belleville, IL 62223
Granite City, IL Shop ‘n Save located at 3521 Nameoki Commons, Granite City, IL 62040
