Lucinda joined Operation Food Search in November 2013, bringing with her a passion for food access and community health issues. As Director of Strategic Initiatives, she is leading a transformational organization shift to implement innovative programs that break the cycle of hunger and reduce food insecurity. She oversees OFS’s three program focus areas: Meet the Immediate Need; Master Cooking Skills and Nutrition IQ; and Champion Change.

Throughout her career, Lucinda has held positions in state government, public health, and non-profit organizations, where she specialized in program management, policy, and philanthropy. Prior to joining OFS, Lucinda was the Community and Government Relations Manager at SUPERVALU, based at Save-A-Lot food stores and Shop ‘n Save.

Lucinda is currently a doctoral student at Brandman University’s Organizational Leadership Program in Irvine, California. She earned a Masters of Public Administration from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
