Kallie is responsible for leading nutrition-focused culinary classes throughout the St. Louis community. Operation Food Search’s nutrition education programs empower low-income kids, teens, families, and adults with the skills to plan, shop, and prepare healthy and delicious meals on a budget.
Kallie received her Bachelor’s in Human Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Dietetics from Southeast Missouri State University in 2017 and received her Master’s in Community Nutrition and completed her Dietetic Internship at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2019. While completing her dietetic internship, she worked with community members, local organizations and food pantries to increase access to supplemental food sources, provide wellness screenings and improve overall nutritional quality of food available at food pantries. She also has experience providing nutrition education and teaching cooking skills to various populations and age groups.

I believe providing children, teens and adults with the opportunity to learn about healthy foods and obtain new cooking skills will empower them to be successful in all aspects of life.
