Claire is responsible for leading nutrition focused culinary classes throughout the St. Louis community. Additionally, Claire coordinates satellite partnerships for Cooking Matters classes in more than 40 counties across the state and manages all the volunteers for our nutrition education programs while working towards expanding volunteerism within the Nutrition Education team, and enhancing retention strategy. Claire’s largest project is the launch and coordination of a new internal culinary program for kids and teens, focusing on a hands-on cooking approach to intrigue kids about their health and nutrition.

Claire received her Bachelor’s in Nutrition & Dietetics with an emphasis in the Culinary Arts in 2016 from Saint Louis University, completed her dietetic internship at Tulane University in New Orleans in 2017, and received her Master’s in Medical Dietetics from Saint Louis University in May 2019. Throughout her career, Claire has held various roles educating a variety of age groups on cooking and nutrition, including developing and teaching an introductory culinary course at Saint Louis University. In her free time, Claire volunteers for Girls in The Know as a body image speaker for pre-teen girls.
