As a first-time donor to Operation Food Search, you join a community of caring that began in the late 1970s, when a few concerned citizens went in search of food for their neighbors in need. Since then, supporters like you have helped us use that spark to ignite a movement to create a future free from hunger. With your help, OFS is able to provide food and services to 200,000 people every month. But it’s not enough to meet the immediate need. We know, as you do, that we have to work on the underlying causes of food insecurity in order to keep hunger from happening in the first place. That is how we ensure that everyone can put food on the table in the long term. With the collaboration of caring individuals like you, we’ve gone from searching for food to searching for solutions.
