SUMMARY:Warners' Warm-Up
DESCRIPTION:The 23rd annual Warners’ Warm-up Coat Drive will be held from Oct. 23 – Nov. 5. First Things First\, Kurt & Brenda Warner\, and Operation Food Search are asking for support from the greater St. Louis community with the donation of new and gently-used winter coats of all shapes and sizes for bi-state residents in need. There are more than 100 drop-off locations throughout the region. \nWhat started in 2001 as a one-day drive prior to a St. Louis Rams game has turned into an annual event with approximately 10\,000 coats collected each year. OFS distributes the coats collected to our network of schools\, shelters and social service centers. To date\, approximately 290\,000 coats have been distributed in the St. Louis area. \nFind drop off locations and online donation options here.

SUMMARY:Give STL Day
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, May 6\, 2021\, be part of Give STL Day and make a difference in St. Louis!  \nAll donations collected will benefit our Fresh Rx: Nourishing Healthy Starts program\, which provides pregnant women experiencing food insecurity with fresh\, local food and resources for a healthy household. \nFood insecurity during pregnancy has significant long-term health impacts on moms and babies. Mothers have greater risk of chronic conditions and complications during pregnancy\, and infants are more likely to be born early and underweight. OFS provides expectant mothers and their families with quality nutrition and wraparound supportive services.  \nWon’t you join us in supporting moms and impacting lives by helping us address the root causes of hunger?\n\nGive STL Day is a 24-hour giving event with local impact. Donate to the nonprofits working on the causes YOU care about. Operation Food Search is one of 900+ nonprofit organizations that have signed up to participate and will be raising much needed dollars with your help! \nThere will also be prizes and incentives awarded throughout the day to help make your donation dollars go even further. \nWhen the day comes\, help us heal the hurt of hunger and make the greater St. Louis area a healthier community! \nClick here to donate May 6 to Operation Food Search.
