DESCRIPTION:Operation Food Search is teaming up with Phoenix Solutions and Repurpose for a Purpose to host a combined Electronics Recycling and Food Drive. This event gives community members an easy way to securely recycle unwanted electronics while also supporting families facing food insecurity. \nRecycling Details\nPhoenix Solutions will responsibly recycle your electronics and securely destroy any data-bearing devices (NAID AAA Certified). \n\nFree to recycle most e-waste\n50¢ per lb for flat screen TVs/monitors\n$1 per lb for CRT/tube TVs/monitors\n\nAccepted items include: \n\nComputers\, laptops\, desktops\, towers\nCell phones\, tablets\, and hard drives\nServers\, smart watches\, and other data devices\n\nNot accepted: batteries\, fluorescent bulbs\, large household appliances\, printers/scanners\, and kitchen devices.(For a full list\, see Phoenix Solutions’ recycling guidelines.) \nFood Drive Details\nBring shelf-stable food donations for Operation Food Search. SUMMARY:Warners' Warm-Up 2025
DESCRIPTION:First Things First\, Kurt & Brenda Warner\, and Operation Food Search are calling on support from greater St. Louis for the 25th annual Warners’ Warm-up Coat Drive with the donation of new and gently-used winter coats of all shapes and sizes for Bi-State residents in need. The two-week drive takes place from October 20-November 2\, 2025 with more than 100 drop-off locations throughout the Bi-State. As always\, Operation Food Search will get the coats to those who need them through their network of social service agencies and homeless shelters. DESCRIPTION:During the Christmas season\, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites people everywhere to light the world by lifting and serving others in small and simple ways. \nOne unique\, fun\, and memorable aspect of the Light the World initiative is the popular Giving Machines. These customized vending machines allow the public to donate necessary products and services to those in need worldwide. Giving Machine items often include food\, clean water\, medical care\, clothing\, education support\, hygiene kits\, and even livestock\, such as chickens\, goats\, pigs\, and beehives. \nSt. Louis receives the Giving Machines from December 11th\, 2025\, through January 1st\, 2026. The machines are a perfect way to love\, share\, and invite others to Christ this Christmas. One hundred percent of every donation is given to the participating nonprofit organizations to purchase and deliver the donated item. This happens because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints covers all Giving Machine operating costs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen: Dec. 11th\, 2025 – Jan. 1st\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere: West County Center\, St. Louis\, 80 W County Center Dr\, Des Peres\, MO 63131. On the 2nd floor in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods.
