As the Child Nutrition Program Coordinator, Isabel and the child nutrition team oversee the daily functions of Operation Backpack. She works closely with partnering schools to collect data, plan menus, coordinate with volunteers, and distribute meals.

Isabel earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Missouri, along with a minor in Sociology. Additionally, she has spent time volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters and College Mentors for Kids, Alzheimer’s Association, True North, and the Catholic Charities Refugee Services.

Furthermore, Isabel earned Phi Alpha Honors and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Originally from Kansas City, Isabel was fortunate to participate as an exchange student in the Netherlands.

For fun, Isabel enjoys many hobbies from reading and crocheting to photography and coffee. She has a dog named Redford that has become an enjoyable mainstay throughout the office.
