As the Child Nutrition Program Coordinator for Operation Food Search, Cidney oversees many daily activities of Operation Backpack. She works with schools and volunteers while also supervising menu planning, inventory tracking and delivery logistics.
Cidney earned her Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development from Missouri State University. Previously, she worked with Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis in their Headstart Program.
Cidney has volunteered in the donation closet program for Every Child’s Hope. Additionally, she was the President of The Association of Black Collegians while getting her undergraduate degree. Furthermore, she was the Treasurer for Ekklesia Progressive Campus Ministry and the Director of Diversity for student government.
Outside of the office, Cidney enjoys checking out new restaurants with friends. She loves to have game nights with her family. Her creative outlet is writing poetry and she is currently working on an entire book of her compositions.
