A native of St. Louis, Susan came to OFS in late 2011 to assist spreading the word that hunger is a problem in the metro region despite the prosperity of the people within it. Susan graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in communications and is a fan of “getting the word out” when it comes to social issues . Having worked in non-profit her entire career with not just communications, but in development and events, Susan brings a variety of tools to the organization. Susan is helping to serve the mission of OFS through the powerful streams of social media. Susan is also a classically trained soprano and enjoys singing, reading, hand crafts, gardening and playing with her dogs.
