A Fun Way to Fight Hunger
What is this event all about?
The Downtown St. Louis Idiotarod pays homage to the Alaskan Iditarod, except the dogs are replaced by with people, the sled with a shopping cart, and the race is set on the streets of St. Louis. Teams of five people will venture through downtown stopping at checkpoints and completing challenges. Teams must have a theme that is reflected in their sled and costumes.
How does it benefit OFS?
One of the challenges is collecting “virtual” food for Operation Food Search.
When and Where does this take place?
