Every gift that you make to Operation Food Search has a meaningful and lasting impact on our neighbors’ lives.
Your gifts not only feed people directly; they also give families the tools they need to better feed themselves.
When you give a gift to Operation Food Search, you have a choice to contribute in several different ways.
Whether you choose to make a one-time gift or to give a recurring gift, your gift to our annual campaign makes it possible to continue to provide food and services to hungry families in the St. Louis community.
Your gift is used to:
- Collect and distribute over 34 million dollars worth of food to the hungry every year
- Provide 8,500 children with nutritious food every weekend throughout the school year through our Operation Backpack program
- Teach over 10,000 people a year about nutrition, cooking skills, and making the grocery dollar stretch
- Provide a 24/7 hunger hotline referral service to those in need
- Every $1 donated provides $21 of food and program services
Without the support we receive from individuals, these programs would not be possible.
And 98.03% of every donation goes directly to providing services to the hungry.
If you would like to support Operation Food Search in an easy and efficient way, please consider making a recurring monthly donation. Your pledge, made affordable in monthly or quarterly installments, allows you to support vital programs that help heal the hurt of hunger. Your donations will be acknowledged at the beginning of January in one convenient receipt for tax purposes.
To support Operation Food Search through a monthly contribution contact Lucinda Perry, Director of Strategic Initiatives at (314) 726-5355 x28 or complete this online donation form. We will make the process simple for you.
